Back to the world of blogging

Well I won't try to say every detail of the last 8 months or so since I last posted. Work got busy, went on vacation, moved back to Missouri, and that's where I'm at now. Looking for a job. I'm going to attempt to use this more often, as it is a good outlet.

Long time no post

Hi all who read this.

I was gone on vacation for a while and then had to get back into the swing of things.

My trip home for Christmas was VERY nice.  It was refreshing to be back in the Midwest!  What a great place, so calm and slow paced, was such a treat.  I also got to meet with a few of my friends which just added to the pleasure of being back in Missouri.  It was hard to come back but I had too. :)

Now I begin the task of looking for work, which is never fun, just more work. :)  Things have been okay, just very stressful lately, have a lot going on with working and also car stuff!

Just wanted to update on what's been going on, thanks for reading.

Nice week, ending with a trip to Missouri

Hi,

This week has been somewhat better. Only worked a few days because I am leaving for Missouri on Thursday. I am ready for a break from there. You know it's time to leave when EVERY one is annoying you. It'll be nice to see friends and family. It'll also be nice to drive on straight roads, oh, straight roads, and they won't have trees growing right on the edge (like right off the pavement) either. And I will KNOW where I am going at all times. A week and a half of knowing where I am going, that'll be awesome too :). I will miss a few things, like living in a Catholic household and all that goes along with that.

In other good news, heard from an old friend, was a very welcome surprise. I have also been getting tons of Christmas cards. I love that, getting real mail is so great, better than all those bills!

Well I should go, I need to get some rest, long day tomorrow.

Crazy week

Been somewhat a defeating week. Feel I have somewhat failed as a mentor/tutor/teacher. Glad it's over and just hope next week is better. Though you can't get much lower than this week.

The week actually started out wonderful but it feel apart yesterday. Not getting into details.

Well hoping next week is better. Will be a long hard week because I have to get ready for my trip home.

Trying this

I haven't had much luck getting onto blogger to post, so I'm trying it from my computer :).
Nothing much new going on.  Just work and getting ready for my trip home.  I'll have to fill you all in tomorrow on all the goings on, which isn't much :).

The return to 'normal' life :)

Well this will be the first whole week back in awhile. And it's a busy one.

Thanksgiving was nice, but odd because it's not my family :). Then yesterday we went to a wedding, it was Wonderful and very pretty. The reception was fun and had some nice free wine :). Spoken from the girl who got a hang over from 4 glasses of wine on Halloween. It was a good time.

I really haven't much new to share, as it's been pretty plain jane here for awhile. Though I do ask for prayers for a friend/ and his family. His father died very suddenly today. Thanks,

Back from Vacation

It was a nice time. The place we stayed was huge and Maggie got to run around all of the upstairs. I had some car trouble while there, but it just disappeared, so that's great! It wasn't so hard leaving for home, just the usual not wanting to go back to working all the time because it gets crazy for me. It was hard leaving a place so much like the Mid West though. I loved how friendly the people were, friendly and helpful. Kind of made me miss my home region a little and also made me want to move to Cape Cod! :) So tomorrow it's back to normal, meaning work in the morning and work in the evening, same old same old. I know there are people out there reading this so post a comment or too :)
